Ukraine finally admitted yesterday that its military shot down a Russian airliner that crashed into the Black Sea last week, killing all 78 passengers and crew.
Ukraine’s military has a trackrecord of shooting down civil aircraft. What makes you think it were the rebels this time around?
Ukrainian BUK’s (mid-range SAMs) were set on high alert in eastern Ukraine due to rumours of Russian military aircraft violating Ukraine’s airspace. Meanwhile rebels, even though truly in possession of several pieces of BUK hardware they captured from the Ukrainian army last month, don’t possess neither the logistics nor the trained officers to actually operate them. Lastly, this Malasya plane incident very conveniently happens during the days when the rebels finally turned the tides of war against Kiev’s forces and began advancing.
But needless to say, of course in defiance of logic and common sense, the most recent tragedy will be blamed on both Seps and Putin. As always.
